Adele - you're probably experiencing "infatuation" which is the exciting bit at the start of falling in love. Sometimes infatuation fades to horror or boredom, other times it sort of explodes and deepens and before you know it he's meeting the parents and you're shopping for buggies.

Not that I want you shopping for buggies at 13, girl. Or even at 23. Let's make it 30. No, 35.

Don't think about whether it's love or not. Just enjoy it! And take your time.

i think a 13 year old shouldnt be worrying about these things, Wait until your in college until you ever think you love someone, people you love should be people who you can depend on, and you them, you cant depend on some spotty 13 year old who wants to tell his mates he's had you.

Concentrate on school and then love when ur finished!

I think love can come at any age, and can be apprecaited on many levels. And for those reasons it is very hard for one to "know". It just depends, but when you succeed in finding love, the chances are you will not doubt it, or need to ask. So don't worry bout it, and love will find you.

As we get older we get more cynical and mistrusting of things like love.

Sometimes we meet people and based on first impression we ask them out. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes we find out we don't actually like them on the first date, sometimes it takes half a lifetime. Our cynical minds tell us that most of the time it doesn't work out.

Cynically we look at you age 13 and presume what you have is puppy love, that you are misguided and that you will grow out of quickly.

I say that we're a bunch of old fogies that can't remember the innocence of youth. Realize it may not work out, but, hey, go for it.
