    how are you paying for skype out?
    their website seems to refuse irish visa cards, mine works fine everywhere else...

    buying skype out credit worked fine for me. i payed using my irish mbna visa card (although my current address is in finland) and it worked with no problem. i bought 10€ and they added a 1,50€ fee to it.

    They do say that their validation routines are very strict and that this can sometimes cause their system to reject some cards.

    My first attempt was rejected. My second attempt was sucessful.

    Give it another go.

    the 1.50 fee is vat at 15% because u are ec resident. if u have a non ec credit card then u dont pay this.
