    REAL MADRID PLAN TV SERVICES EXPANSION
    MADRID, January 28 (Primera Liga) - Real Madrid have announced plans to extend
    the services of the club's television station, RealMadrid TV.
    The channel will begin broadcasting 24 hours a day in Spain and in Europe, and
    will be available through the Satellite platform Digital Plus in Spain and via
    the Astra and Hispasat satellites across the continent.
    The club are also looking to extend services to the Asia and English-speaking
    markets and are currently increasing the numbers of overseas reporters to carry
    out this task.
    Station director Michael Novack said: ``This is a change in the model of
    station that we are.
    ``From being a thematic local channel, we are becoming international. It is
    the first time that a mark (Real Madrid) has launched a type of communication
    like this.''
    The station is currently operating from offices on the outskirts of Madrid,
    but will move to headquarters at Real Madrid's new training ground when it opens
    this summer.
