I've had no dealings with them myself but seen them mentioned quite a bit in the "Home Entertainment" forum, and most of the stuff I read was quite good. It was a while ago though so things could have changed

I bought a set of headphones from them before Christmas and no problem other than postal ones were encountered!

I've bought loads of stuff from Richer Sounds. Can't fault them. I used to buy gear in their shop on the quays in the Dublin. Since they closed, I've bought a few things and had them sent down. They courier them from what I recall..
Anyway, yeah, go with Richer Sounds. They're great.

    Kev.

Yeah, I used their shop in Dublin on many occasion, and they were always really good. Have bought off richersounds.ie once. Even with the 10E delivery charge they are still a lot cheaper than most places in the Republic

I bought a surround sound system from 'em about a year ago. They were a bit reluctant and tended to refer me to the locals but I mentioned the EU and £60 premium and then there was no problem.

Delivery was Omega Express and cost £10. Recommended.

I bought a subwoofer off them via their site last year. It had a glass insert that broke during delivery. Rang them about it and they picked it up and gave me a replacement the next day. I've found the staff to be very helpful, they have gone out of their way to assist me.

The excellent clearance sales they have in the Belfast shop from time to time is worth the trip if you are looking at a big purchase.

They still sell a certain amount of hi fi stuff from their dj shop on the quays beside where the old Richer shop used to be. They had the Pioneer dvd/universal player in there for 199 euros which is not a bad price at all.

check to see if the dual-tuners in the DVD-recorder work here. The UK is slightly different and you'll probably need to get a televerter from Peats or elsewhere -not expensive but a hassle nonetheless.

    They should do!
They are charging an extra 20 euro for the dual tuner over then the UK version.
