All you purple eaters out there get on here and voice yourselves!

Whats this offseason going to bring for us?

Hopefully a new owner!! Before the FA period begins that way red wont screw us over yet again. That guy has some nerve. First the prics on the team was 600million and since going into negotiations hes upped it to 650, and he's more than likely going to offload randy. Albeit we could get rid of him and in the doing vastly improve our D which in turn would balance out the team.

    Anyway vikings unite!

The Return of no. 69 Brock Lesnar? lol

I thought Rob Smith was a great player till he retired a couple seasons ago, Randy Moss is great but needs a hair cut, Daunte is over rated though...in my humble opinion. He'll never be as good as a Vick or a McNabb

Culpepper is a fantastic player, he led the league in passing this season. How could he be over rated?

Randy needs big hair to match his inflated head. If they had any sense they would trade him away. He's a fantastic player but his massive ego is very disruptive to the team. The Patriots have shown that players with the right attitude get the job done.

Dante is a wonderful QB but he’s not the warrior McNabb is. He’s far better a QB than Vick tho.

The Vikings have 3 main needs this offseason. A Strong Safety, some help at Running back(Bennet is not the answer, with an passing offence like that he should be racking up Edge numbers) and some help at DT(especially with Hovan gone). I know they lacked a pass rush thi s year but Udeze needs to be given a chance to show he can play before the worry about that. Rumour’s around Philly have them making a play for Eagles DT Corey Simon who is a free agent this year.

A move to another division would be nice. (One where the opposition just rolls over when you guys get two games ahead. Go Pack-the ONLY NFC North champions!)

Let me draw your attention to two pieces of information:

    1. Look at my sig (it speaks for itself ... inbreeding and champions do not mix)
    2. The scoreline in this picture:

    Case closed.

Yes, and how many championships do the Vikings have? And how many has Green Bay? So the case for inbreeding is what again? Oh yes, inbreeding and champions do not mix. True!

I see a major drop off in both the vikes and pack next year. Watch for the bears to start really challenging. They have a good young D and with a decent addition at WR in the off season they’ll be a major force. Whether it’s Braylon Edwards or Mike Williams whichever big name they get in the draft should be able to give them a big play threat which is something they really have lacked. And a healthy QB situation is a must too.

I'm going to have to disagree with you. I see the vikings having a better than a .5 season this year. We're sorting out the runnng game this year, giving priority to one RB. We've got a new O coordinator who is not afraid to run the ball. We still have dc and atm we still have moss, with nate not for behind him talent wise.

We should be sorting out our defense with the draft and free agency. We have $30million in cap room so we wont have a problem doubling the ability of our defense with an experienced linebacker and safety. I see this year as being one of the best in the past few years for the vikes.

But i will agree with the drop off for the pack. Favre's lost it. He's too old and doesnt have whats needed to take GB to the superbowl. Last year was his last chance, and we took it from him. (oh yeah!!)

I agree with IB about the Vikes: I can't see them losing 8 next year. Should win 10, at least.

You're probably right about Favre not having it to take GB to the SB, but he doesn't have to. It's a team game, and with Green back to his best, and Walker and Driver still improving, there isn't any way to stop GB winning the division again. Too old, LOL. Linford Christie reached the Olympic 100m final at 36, Merlene Ottey did it at 40. Just think Vikes' fans, 4 or 5 more years of finishing second in the division. Yikes!! (Continue to pray for #4's retirement, and hope that Nall isn't as good as he looks)
