Dell Delivery Times?

According to the Dell tracking website, my new laptop was dispatched on last night, Tuesday, at 10.07pm. It says I should have it within 2-7 days of this, but does anyone know how long it actually takes?

Anyone ordered a Dell lately? What company do they use? I live in Dublin, hopefully it shouldn't take too long. The e-mail says it left the "Dell European Manufacturing Centre", which is in Ireland, so fingers crossed it'll be here by Friday!

This is a bit of an anal question I know, but I want to get it before the weekend if possible: big project due!

By sheer cooincidence mine was dispatched on monday night so I was expecting it late this week.
Got home this evening to find a family member had signed for and taken delivery of a package from Dell.
But to my disappointment it was only part of the order (free backpack). I rang them to see what the craic was but it's outside office hours

Pirannha logistics, Limerick are the dispatch company for Dell, who in turn use Interlink Express. Neither website can provide tracking, even though they say they can. Their contact details are on their site.

Not exactly inspiring me with confidence there, Wertz, but thanks all the same! I was under the parcel company would ring the day before they deliver: am I wrong? Or should I take tomorrow off college just in case?

i rang up dell themselves who told me what day the thing would come on and right enough it did, they said after five and they kept to their word

might have been 5 days after i ordered it

I'm told the courier rang our landline to get directions and to make sure someone was in...
As for taking time off? Any excuse IMO

Well, it hasn't arrived today! Maybe tomorrow - hope it comes in the morning, as I'm leaving town at around half past two...

Yeah me either. Order confirmation eMail reckoned 30th Jan but dispatch date showed as 24th so it's still on it's travels...
