Try this out, all you have to do is join. You might be able to increase Irelands ranking.

i think the best way to do that is for all of us to say we're from Samoa firstly and just try answer honestly, then when we inevitably demote samoa, we will move up and we can then all say we're from whoever is above us then. instead of building up our score, we can decrease everyone elses! simple!

woops, have decreased irelands score by 00.5, maybe we should stop doing the quiz cause were lowering the score... :D

Alternatively, you could deliberately sabotage New Zealands score at the top, by saying you were from there and then making completely wrong guesses.

Not that I did that or anything, mind. ;)

Kiribati's easy enough. Almost bang on the equator which helps (line it up with the top tip of Peru), place it using that and the islands being directly north of Fiji and try not to click on Tuvalu by accident. I mixed up Palau with Micronesia (boo!, but in fairness, easy to do as Palau used to be part of Micronesia IIRC). And Guinea-Bissau with Gambia (turns out that Gambia is the one wrapped around Senegal while GB is the one right below Gambia & west of Guinea). That's two 90%s and a 100 then.

    Nice find trickydicky, well-done quiz.

Evidently I underestimated the popularity of Kiribati. In my defence I did get Tuvalu. I wonder if Americans have similar problems with these small south seas islands like Australia.

I like your thinking. I'm off to sabotage Finland's score. They think they're so great with their saunas and reindeers. I'll show 'em!

This site might be useful for those of us who are geographically impared. Choose the country from the dropdown list and use the little maps to the right to guide you to where the country is.

I have the advantage of having GIS software with a world map on this puter ;)
