So we get into the 2-part finale, winding up a little arc that's been building for the last weeks.

Again, like with SG-1, we get a good, if not as good, episode. I enjoyed the tie-in back with the scout ship and it answers questions about why only sending one ship - it was an infiltration unit as much as anything (we still don't know what Steve2 did).

The SFX were good here - I enjoyed the whole McKay on satellite thing and he still got the chance to snark. The dynamic wasn't as good with Grodin as it was with Sheppard but still fun. Speaking of which
poor Grodin died :(. As much as he never had a central role, he made many appearances on screen. Poor fella.
    .

The episode also set itself up for a big action finale so roll on next Tuesday and more tapes from my cousins!

Yeah, I can't wait 'til next week.
I wonder how the new starship will get through?

What new starship, is that an episode ahead of this one your talking about? :/

Personally I thought it was pretty good, but
why didnt the wraith kill that soldier guy? Why didnt he suck the life out of him instead of just beating him up?

It will be interesting to see how
They destroy the last two ships. I was wondering how cool if they wouldnt. Having weir to make a choice/sacrifice about what knowledge to save. The repurcussions of nothing having ancient technology to rely upon. And various other ramifications, but then I remembered the show was called Atlantis.

Don't read spoilers if you don't want episodes to be spoiled! :)

"Personally I thought it was pretty good, but spoiler: why didnt the wraith kill that soldier guy? Why didnt he suck the life out of him instead of just beating him up?"

Why didn't he just light a big bonfire on the top of the tallest point of atlantis and start yelling "HEY HUMANS, LOOKIT MEEEEEEEEEE"

ffs, you can't spoiler quote tags?

and why are we putting things in spoilers that relate DIRECTLY to this episode?

This spoiler tags aren't half annoying. Isn't it enough to have it in the bloody title without having to highlight every second worD?

    Ok
agree, copious use of spolier tags here

    back on topic:

yea, thought it was a good ep, as pointed out though, the show is called atlantis so i doubt they will actually evacuate or if they do, it will be a temporary thing.

Reminds me a bit of the time they abandoned DS9 to the Dominion.

Anyway, I thought this was a great episode. If I'd been Grodin, I would have overloaded the naquita generator, and pushed it out the airlock towards the wraith ships. Unfortunately, he didn't seem to think of that, but at the same time, it did give us the chance to see the wraith weapons in action which were damn cool! In fact, all the weapon shots in this episode were pretty cool. Lets hope there's more of the same next week.

Wraith arent exactly reknowned for their subtlety.

As for not reading spoilers if I dont want to be spoiled, well you could Fúcking put a warning about the contents of the spoiler if its 3rd hand knowledge.
