Hi all got a Asus p4p800se and the USB ports have just suddenly stopped working !!! Windows is detecting them and to check I reinstalled them too !!!!! Still no luck.

The fort is connected to the mobo in one location and th rear in another so its strange all have gone!

Could it be a bios or "fried" USB power issue.

Anyone got any sugestions on what I should do ?

    Desperate.............

removing the device and/or usb it should find the device
failing that mate it could be a power issue
could try updating your usb drivers

What Windows are you using? If windows are detecting them, surely it means that your USB ports are working? I'd go with what IANOC suggested. If all fails, maybe your PSU does not have enough power to power your USB?
Maybe posting this in the Computer section would get you more help.

Go to device manager and uninstall them.
Reboot and let XP reinstall them.
