The IEDR have announced that as of today (24/1/05) there will be a second zone rebuild at midday, so any new domains and modifications should be processed at that time if they are submitted early enough:
"IEDR announces an additional daily zone file rebuild for .ie domains

Currently the IE Domain Registry (IEDR) rebuilds the .ie Zone File once a day at 4.30pm. With effect from Monday 24th January this process will be carried out twice each working day at 12pm and at 4.30pm.

This means that new registrations accepted by the IEDR in the morning will be available for use after the rebuild at noon. Similarly, changes to name servers, changes to domain contact details or domain transfers accepted in the morning, will also be processed at noon, 4.5 hours earlier than heretofore. Requests accepted after noon will be included in the rebuild process at 4.30pm as usual.

Ciara Kavanagh, Technical Hostmaster at the IEDR, said "We are pleased to offer this service improvement to our registrants. We expect that this additional rebuild at noon will enable our resellers to meet their customers' expectations for faster access to their new or updated .ie domains.."

For additional information please contact hostmasters@iedr.ie. "
