Its monday. Every monday is depressing (except if its the first day on holimudays), so today is no different. Add the fact that we were meant to be paid today, but not uintil tmr now, makes it a typical monday pain in the ass.

I'm in fear of being sacked today, so not so much depressing but hanging over my head

Well this is my last week of co-op and I had a lovely breakfast today and also its not raining so I can't be all that bad.
On the other hand I just found out that my private jet which was carrying my entire family, which was piloted by my supermodel financé crashed into my uninsured home....

Well it's my sister's birthday today - not sure I should tell her that she's born on the most depressing day of the year

On the other hand, I've just got back from lovely New York to dirty Dublin and am jet lagged, so I'm opting for this particular instance of January the 24th being depressing!

It's monday, I'm in work, it's freezing outside, I'm broke, something I thought was going really well ended last night, I'm almost out of hash, I'm exhausted and one of my mates is mad at me. I don't think the reason I'm feeling down today has anything to do with the fúckin date.

sorry to hear about the "thing" ending, but man your posts on here are almost always bang on and sometimes cheer me up in themselves. chin up lad. its only another week till payday, and the weather will start to get better(well as much as it ever does in this country).

Well i'm happy as the proverbial Larry. Woke up at 9, felt it was a tad early so went back to bed until 1. Am being head-hunted for a good job, it's calm enough outside to do some miles on my bike, have some good ideas for work and looking forward to carrying them out, poker night is tomorrow night, etc., etc.

Cost of an evening in a pub in Dublin (let's say 6 pints): €30

I don't think my smoking hash has anything to do with my financial position, if anything it improves it.

The Ray Burke thing cheered me up no end though

Well I've been having a great day. Despite the fact that it's freezing and my typing is going to hell, and I'm dying of a cold, everything today has been excellent. I got a half day off school, went in an replaced my new ipod, and got an absolutely delicious sandwich from O'Briens.

I always reckoned the 22nd of July (or is it June, it's the day after the summer solstice anyway) was the most depressing day 'cause from then on, it can only get darker/worse.

Lost a good friend today properly which has me fvcked up royally and my boss (the wanker) gave me a 2 out of 5 in my quarterly review today. He hates my ass so nothing I do will change anything... I'll have the last laugh though when I get my commission for the year next month and then I'm off around the world for a year!!!
