    in what sense safe?

can you use them ? - yes of course.

Would you leave your stuff in there unattended? no. use the lockers outside.

You can bring in your own lock and put it on one of the lockers in the crunch fitness changing room if you have a small padlock handy. Or there is lots of lockers outside too which you can use. :)

You are not allowed to bring your own lock into the Crunch Fitness changing room, its against the rules and regulations! ;) Surely if he is not a member of Crunch Fitness he wil not know the code into the dressing room. Oh alright here is the code: its 666

yeah, whats that about? - just a money making scam? I'm still using my own lock anyway

They charge you €7 for a lock for the changing room lockers. Scammers. We're so ripped off for the gym here. It's only €50 to join the Trinity gym for a year for students there. I paid €165 here...

They are such scammers in Crunch Fitness! I paid 120 euro to join thanks to a discount but its still a frickin' rip off. I also paid 7 euro for that lock but when I signed up for the gym no one bothered to tell me that they snap the locks if you leave it on overnight and I left it on one night, it was snapped and they had the cheek to ask for another 7 yo yos! I did kick up a storm and got another lock for free! :)

AFAIK the trinner winners have to pay a small charge every time they use the gym. DCU students have free membership but have the charge aswell. Why not rent the 40c lockers? ask at the desk at the entrance to the sports centre and they'll give you a token. I got my membership for 120 euro which isnt too bad.

Man that sucks, I had to stump up another 7quid for a replacement gym card. Its weird tho, I've left my lock on for nearly a whole week at times without it being cut off!

    I think I paid €165.

Yeah it's expensive, but I don't think I'd use the gym so much if I hadn't paid so much!
    It's the best €165 I ever spent!!!

The only people who can get the gym rate in line with that of Trinity are the students.Unfortunately no one is willing to protest about issues like this.
The only protests involve anti-American crap...

€165 a year for non-stop use of UCD gym and you're moaning about that? Get real!
Have any of you seen the Trinity gym?

My God, wait until you have to start paying proper fees for gyms.

Yeah thats true. My dads a member, and it costs him between €250 to €300 a year, but he says its about half what he'd pay anywhere else, so he's well happy with it.

Woops, didn't know that...not that I ever did it or anything :p
