I didn’t know where to put this questions so I put it here ,, mod can move if wrong,

What I wanted to ask was this.

I'm really interest in game development and I was wondering if anyone knew a college in Ireland what offered this sort of thing?

DIT were thinking of putting a module in ft228 for games development, but I'm not sure if they have.

Ballyfermot have a course as well as far as I know.

Carlow are starting a new course this year named "Computer Games Development" (surprise surprise). New course, points aren't set yet. It's number 1 on my cao list.

Ballyfermot also have a computer games development course of some kind.

If your over 23 then you can apply as a mature student, you will have to look into it fairly quick though if you are planning on attending college this year.

You should also consider the UK, mature students have to be over 21, im applying to a couple of universities over there at the moment and the deadline for most courses is the end of this month, but with stuff like photography you get till the end of march.
More than likely get called for an interview and you will have to submit a portfolio.

No they would start in September but because you are a mature student there is a different application procedure.
Best bet is to contact the colleges you are interested in and they will point you in the right direction.
