Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    yeah they are expecting a further 2 feet of snow to fall in New York today on top of whats already there.

    It's common enough there though.
    I was there two years ago in february and was wading waist deep in snow in central park.

    wind gusts of 84 mph also recorded.

    Heavean for me would be 29 inches of snow, no electricity, loads of candles, a crate of wine, fridge full of food, half bar, and a few good philosophy books to read while not stoned or running around in the snow........

    I've just come from Austria and they are extremely well organised and they are just about able to deal with the snow so it doesn't effect everyday life. If we were to get snow like that in Ireland, the country would collapse for real.
