    actually it's just multiples of 9 (except 99). See the symbols for 9, 18, 27,... are the same and that's the symbol that appears.

    Ah come on, as someone above said every multiple of 9 has that symbol. I copped that from the beginning, there isn't a big mystery...

    If you pic 30-39 you will alway land on 27. 40-49 you always land on 36... so theyre the numbers that need changing and no others

    Pick any 2-digit number ie xy. In the sum of the digits is x + y. Then subract this from the original xy which is in reality 10x + y (as we have a decimal counting sytem)

    So (10x + y) - (x + y) = 9 x, ie the answer is always a multiple of 9.

    All numbers that are multiples of 9 have the same symbol.
