Who said mass production was all bad?

    http://www.thechestnut.com/bertha/bertha.htm

Strangely it originally ran from 1986-87! Maybe it was the fashions or the generally crappy look of the show or something but I always had the idea it was from the early 1970s and that'd it'd been round for years by the time I got to see it.

I remember that. The T.O.M. made weird little beep noises. Sorta like r2d2.
Used to be on BBC iirc ?

    "bertha, lovely bertha
    somwtimes I think you're a dream...etc etc"

how do I still know the theme tune to this?

anyway I used to love that they never made the same thing twice...obviously a freelance factory.

Bertha really was such a quality programme, and the theme tune most certainly rocked....

Scary how theme tunes like that can be remembered......I cant rememeber my pin number but I can remember "always get the goods out, always get the goods out, we can depend upon you...clicking in the day, shining in the night, your computer shining brightly, some people say youve a mind of your own and I think thats very likely, likely!"....

I need to lie down/get out more.

    Pete
