Did they ever finish Season 4? I had to get the last few episodes on Living TV. And what about CSI Miami? Did they finish the latest season with the Miami/NY crossover episode?

    Hi,

I just got the following reply from RTE regarding CSI...

Thank you for your query, which will be logged and
circulated to senior management in accordance with RTÉ
Policy. This includes the Head of Scheduling, RTE
    Television.

For your information, please find below the update on
the CSI series from the RTE Scheduling Division:-

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (Series set in Las Vegas):
Eight episodes left to transmit in Series 4 but, no
confirmed transmission date for the remaining eight
episodes. It is most likely to return later in the year
in the usual slot Monday on RTE ONE at 21:30.

RTE is currently repeating Series 3 of "CSI: Crime
Scene Investigation" on Thursday's on RTÉ ONE late
night following RTE News (Late Headlines). Please note
that the transmission time can fluctuate. This repeat
series is due to finish on the 3rd of February 2005.

    CSI: New York
We do have a licence for this new Series but no
confirmed of the start date at present.

    CSI: Miami
There is one episode of Series 2 of "CSI: Miami"
left to transmit and it is due to return to RTE TWO on
Sunday the 20th of February which will lead us into
Series 3. However, please note that this scheduling
slot & information (in relation to "CSI: Miami") is
    subject to change.

RTÉ's broadcasting schedule reflects its commitment, as
the national broadcaster of Ireland, to devote the
majority part of its schedule to home-produced
    programmes.
It is the decision of the Head of Scheduling as to how
the schedule is filled. However, the executive board
will also influence his decision on occasions.
The log, in which your e-mail will be included, is
circulated to the Executive Board and other relevant
    senior management at RTÉ.

Again, thank you for your e-mail.
Your support of RTÉ programmes is much appreciated.
    Kind Regards

    Brigitte (Murphy)
    RTÉ Communications

    So there you have it...

P.S. top marks for RTE for getting back to me...
