I'm sure most of you have seen this already but seems interesting............

Whether you are one of our 20,000 registered members or among the equal number of visitors and browsers of TwoPlusTwo.com forums, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the newly created Internet Series of Poker (ISOP) Headquarters.

While the ISOP is a series of online tournaments wholly sponsored by the participating sites, we are proud to be providing the centralized home where players and the Poker Sites will come together in a single location. Here we will provide a setting to facilitate tournament sign-ups, participate in discussions, announce tournament results, and present general promotion of ISOP events.

In the twelfth month of the series the ISOP will culminate in a historic final event featuring the largest buy-in multi-table tournament in Internet history. You will be able to participate in the final event by winning a preliminary event, buying in directly, or participating in a satellite event that all participating sites will be running to feed the final event. We have assembled a management team that will administer the ISOP with the sponsoring sites through the TwoPlusTwo.com forum community, and will let them get into more detail below, but our expectations for the ISOP finals are grand in scale.

As time allows, we will participate alongside our members, readers, and sponsoring sites via discussion in the newly created section here at TwoPlusTwo.com. Additionally, we look forward to actual participation in as many events as our schedules will allow. We are also excited about the ISOP Player of the Year competition, where an ultimate ISOP champion will be crowned and duly recognized. We hope that you will become one of our first ISOP Tournament Champions, or better yet, our Inaugural ISOP World Champion.

The entire series and finals will be covered via live Internet radio audio coverage that will serve to make this a premier media event as well. This aspect of the ISOP is something that we are all excited about and feel will be a wonderful complement to the events. Our team will secure expert commentary and a steady stream of professional poker stars to provide color commentary and interviews.

While our personal involvement will be limited to ongoing discussions within the ISOP forum, possible participation in events, and some participation in the Internet radio coverage, feel free to contact the event organizers (listed below) or the participating sites themselves for answers to specific questions regarding the ISOP rules and schedules, or any other issues where you may need additional information.

We encourage your involvement and support of the inaugural and sponsoring sites and we hope that you will help us in making the ISOP an event that will forever be part of the history of this incredible poker growth that is upon us. We wish the best of luck to all players that participate in these events.

    Best Wishes,

    David, Mason and Ray

The Internet Series of Poker (ISOP) is a traveling poker tour, showcasing some of the Internet's finest poker rooms, much like the World Poker Tour does for Brick and Mortar casinos and card rooms. The ISOP has the full support of Two Plus Two Publishing LLC including Mason Malmuth, David Sklansky, and Ray Zee.

The ISOP will feature eleven preliminary events and will culminate in the ISOP Championship Event during the twelfth month of the season. Playing in the ISOP will afford you the opportunity to participate in a truly premier poker event from the comfort of your own home, in some of the finest online card rooms, and against some of poker's biggest names. With prize pools that are certain to topple Internet records the money at stake will be tremendous and the action will be just as exciting.

This forum will provide all the information you need concerning the ISOP. At the top of the forum you will see eleven "sticky" threads, one for each site that is participating in the ISOP's inaugural season. In each thread you will find information pertaining to the participating site's ISOP event. In addition you will find information on site-specific ISOP promos, celebrity appearances, and other information that is pertinent to the site involved. You will also be able to contact the site or link directly to the site to set up a new account (if necessary) and get started in a satellite event to begin your quest for ISOP greatness.

After the individual site has hosted its monthly event, you can return to this site's section for an update on results, ISOP Player of the Year information, and a calendar of satellites the site will be running for entries into the ISOP Championship Event. In addition you will be able to see any current promotions the sponsoring site is offering such as deposit bonuses or other special promotions. Each participating site's page will be constantly updated, so be sure to check back for the most up-to-date information.

The advertising banners you see in this forum belong to the participating sites. They are NOT affiliate banners. The banners will be used to impart information on reload bonuses, special promotions, or any other information they choose to pass along. We encourage you to click these banners and completely support the Inaugural Sponsors of the ISOP.

Finally, this forum and all ensuing discussion will be moderated under the existing parameters as set forth by the TwoPlusTwo.com terms and conditions. The decisions of the ISOP moderator are final. This forum is a fully sponsored, separate entity from TwoPlusTwo.com.

Each month, a different site will host a $1,000+50 ISOP tournament. This tournament will take place on the final Sunday of each month, and will no doubt include some of the Internet's most well known players. Prize pools for these events are expected to range from several hundred thousand dollars, to upwards of one million or more. In addition, the winner of each event will receive a direct buy-in into the ISOP World Championship Event paid for completely by the sponsoring site (a $5,250 value).

This event will be the largest poker tournament the Internet has ever known. The buy-in for the ISOP Championship Event will be $5,000+250, and will feature a prize pool reaching well into the millions of dollars. This event will feature some of poker's biggest names and rising stars, competing alongside the winners from the previous eleven events, direct buy-ins, and players who won their entry from a satellite event at one of the sponsoring sites. Don't miss your opportunity to go home a big winner and make a name for yourself in the poker world!

Each event will be held on the last Sunday of each month, February to January. The exact lineup will be announced in the near future.

You are not alone. The ISOP is designed in such a way that most players will not be buying-in directly, but instead winning their seat through various satellite tournaments. A satellite tournament is a special type of tournament where the prize is an entry into a larger tournament. These satellite tournaments will be in the form of multi-table tournaments and sit-n-go's. Each site will be running satellites to both their event and the ISOP Championship Event. Buy-ins for the satellite events will range from completely free (a freeroll tournament) to $135. A player on any size bankroll will have the opportunity to be playing for millions of dollars come the end of the month. The ISOP is not just limited to high rollers; it is something that anyone who plays Internet poker can be involved with.

The ISOP will feature a fully functional leader board. The leader in the POY standings at the end of the season will be crowned the ISOP Player of the Year. This is an award on par with the WPT's winner and the WSOP's World Champion. If you earn this title you be regarded as one of the top players in the world.

The ISOP will feature live radio coverage of each of the preliminary events as well as the ISOP Championship Event. This coverage will be broadcast over the Internet and will feature expert poker color commentary and interviews with some of poker's premier players.
