hey i was thinking of investing in one of these sometime in the near future. i was looking at this and realised how cheap these have got. i was looking at this one here but the price seems too good to be true... is it?

I think its cheaper because Maxtor has released a newer version of that. Nevertheless, its still good and thats really cheap.
