May not be the right forum but here it goes,

Does anyone know if PK has any plans for a tour here in Ireand in 2005. If not does anyone know who represents him so I could try and get in touch

    Thanks

Haven't heard anything about him coming here. In fact, I don't know if he's ever come to the Republic, he's performed in Belfast though. He's a funny man.

Did you see the Phoenix Nights: Jumping on the Bandwagon show in the Olympia?

No I missed that, but I heard it was very funny. I remember reading somewhere that PK preformed in the Kilkenny cat laughs a couple of years ago. Hopefully if he tours this year, he will include a date or two here in the Republic.

Considering his last tour was a 180 date one, I'm not surprised he's giving it up for a while. It's crap that he didn't fit Dublin into the schedule though, I'd like to see him live more than I would most comedians!

As far as i know, he quit for a couple of reasons:

    (a) to spend time with his newborn son
    (b) reportedly, his last tour was one of the longest running tours (180 dates as Firesuite said).. he needed a serious break after it due to health concerns.
    (c) he wanted to get back to some TV

But apparantly, he will considering returning to do standup in a year or two... with his experiences as a father contributing to some new material.
