post-grad funding

    i was wondering if anyone has any gems of information regarding funding.

    i'm currently doing an mlitt, and am starting a phd (from scratch, for my sins) in september but to be able to, i need to get some funding.

    unfortunately, i study music. afaik, most of the funding goes towards the sciences.

    i'd appreciate info on the mature student (+23) aspect of grants and stuff, coz i am totally oblivious to these things.
