Ok who seriously thinks they ve seen one?

I believe i have, on a camping night out in back garden with about six of my friends it was starting to get bright when we noticed 7 objects like planes flying in perfect v across the sky then the broke up, some just stopped dead others went in reverse which im pretty sure is im possible for an aircraft to do.

    What do ye think?#

any alcohol or hallucinagenic drugs involved in this camping session? i know when I was younger, we camped out the back and saw all sorts of UFOs, flying leprachauns, nuns on excercise bikes and various pink elephants. but then again, maybe the aliens know how superior the people of ballylinan are and wanted to study yis! ;)

Being an astronomy buff I've seen lots of weird ****e and as usual most of it can be explained away with facts and blah blah but i've seen some stuff thats just plain bizarre. So I suppose I have seen a UFO . . . . . or have I?

well you need to distinguish between UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) and ALIENS!!!! i've seen UFOs but the they turned out to be FOs, like a bird or helicopter or whatever! never seen aliens though. well actually, ive seen illegal aliens but never extra terrestrials.
Man, what a worthwhile post.

Any object with mass that is travelling at the speed of an aircraft cannot instantly stop or reverse direction without liquifying the occupant . . . or should I the human occupant. So it couldn't be an airshow performance as the change in direction would be slow.
The appearance of stopping dead could be achieved by the aircraft flying straight up however this a) couldn't be sustained for a long period of time and b) would have to be performed directly above the observer. Similarly the appearance of a reverse of direction could be achieved by performing a half-loop and roll but the change in direction would be reletively slow as the aircraft gradually climbed and looped.

Yeah of course i have

This was no airplane it was instant, the change of direction and the speed was not sone fighter jet!

do you think aliens would just come to our planet fly around the place then fly home?? I think they have probed enough people why not actually make contact after all thses years??

Because they dont exist my freind or maybe they but have certainly never come anywhere near us. Hollywood has corrupted your mind. Maybe it was E.T. going home

Probably. After being pissed off with long distance phone charges, the final straw came when he couldn't get broadband.

I mean we've all seen UFO's (Unidentified Flying Objects) at night when you see a plane.. youcant identify what it is (Unidentified) and it's flying (Flying) and seening as it's something then that would make it an object of some sort (Object)..

We are being observed. I saw a UFO back in 1992 when out walking my Dog. Two years ago in the summer there were 5 glowing balls sighted over Dublin bay that disappeared in a flash (again I saw these) and currently there's a craft sitting over west Dublin the past couple of weeks and if you read this tonight (07/05/12) it's there! I'm trying to call the radio station to tell them about this and get people to look in the sky! This craft is very bright, stationary and low in the sky (i.e not an aircraft, not a star/planet and not a satallite). I hope someone records it or takes pictures. No smart arse comments about drugs or alcohol involved please. J
