14-07-2000 7:45am#1This guys driving quite quickly along an abandoned country lane.
As if from nowhere he is flagged down by a garda speed check.
Garda questions the man:
Garda: Do you know what speed you were goin
Man: Yeah sorry im in a rush
Garda: Im goin to have to give you a ticket!
Man: Fair enough
Garda: You know youre the first car that passed here all day?
Man: Yeah well I got here as fast as I could!
