metallica 2005

Ive Been informed by a lot of ppl that metallica set a tour date for july 12th in Dublin, but cant find any official info on it and since theyre recording a new album this year i have my doubts about it

Thats true, it'll more than likely be worse.

To be honest I doubt there'll be another gig this year, three years in a row is a bit much, I been to the last two and I wouldnt bother goin again this year, It'd be far more likely for another gig in a year or even two.

I know the Chili's certainly over did the whole consecutive gig thingy, what was it 3 on the trot? 4? I enjoyed Metallica last year. Prob won't be in the country this summer though.

that'd be brilliant! went to the last two.. and loved em. Such a fantastic atmosphere, would definitely go again. Hope that they are coming..

twice in two years was enough, enjoyed both but would sooner see a wave of finnish groups coming over

I totally understand metallica aren't they band they were. I know that. But I must say I just had good craic at both gigs. The atmosphere on the day was excellent. Music is supposed is to be something you enjoy. We all no metallica aren't as good as they used to be. But that doesn't stop us all from enjoying a concert. I'd defo go again if they we're playing...

If they played a third gig in two years it will finally prove to everyone what I have been saying to everyone that Metallica are nothing but a commercial bunch of puppets happy to grab money off their fans at any attempt. I could maybe understand playing another gig if they had a new album to promote but another gig without new material would be a complete joke.

i hope they do come again. i missed them the last two times, as im sure many others did.
