remove grub

    say i ever want to get rid of grub and just boot straight into windows how do i do it i dont have a floopy drive

    Why not just set Grub to boot to Windows by default with a 2 second selection time. Less hassle than changing bootloader, imo.

    if i wanted to get rid of linux all together wud the grub config not be removed when i formatted the partition

    If it's installed into the first sector of the partition, I'm guessing yes. If it's installed in the MBR (Master Boot Record), I don't think so. The safest way is to boot into the Recovery Console via the Windows CD and run FIXBOOT and FIXMBR, but if you don't have one I don't know what you can do.
