    Hi Zod
Thanks for the link but at the bottom it says
This offer is only valid in the UK & cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Valid from 14/01/2005 while stocks last.

    Ok, how about :

    Modem+Router €94 - http://www.dsl-warehouse.ie/product.asp?pr=DG834Gv2

    USB NIC €30 - http://www.dsl-warehouse.ie/product.asp?pr=DWL-122

Note the nic is b (11mbs) and you would probably be better off with this one http://www.dsl-warehouse.ie/product.asp?pr=WUSB54G for €53

.. I'm just looking at the site and it's got ( not Including UK VAT ) at the bottom.. not sure if you have to pay this or Irish VAT?

Not exactly what I'm looking for as this has an ADSL modem built in (already have a good modem) and at the moment I have cable but also DSL on trial and may get rid of the Cable( Chorus cable not very good realy :( ).

Marx Computers in Dublin (http://www.marx-computers.com) are selling an MSI PCI 54G wireless network card for €38 inc VAT (it's listed in their network section). Got one before christmas and it works a treat.

The supplied software allows it to act as an Access Point, with your computer picking up the processing overhead.

I don't use it as an AP, but it may prove handy in the future it my AP ever dies.

in Waterford had these a while back. not sure if still there tho

    belkin f5d7000 pci & f5d7010 pcmcia

they were selling both separately for €49.99 but had a 'kit' (one of each) for €54.99

    54Mbps

not bad connection either - I've gotten up to 20Mbps (1 machine downstairs front, 1 upstairs back with a few walls/floor between).
if machines were beside each other got close to the 54
