    Hello All:

I'm currently investigating an idea that will involve translation of some small non-fiction publications into German (and other languages) and was wondering about something . . .

Are there any/many translators that would work in a joint venture instead of an upfront payment (i.e. they'd get a percentage of each sale of an end product)? (This would be done semi-automatically and they'd have access to all records.)

It would entail translating a small test-piece forst, with the rest being done later if it proves to be popular. (Hope this doesn;t sound like a solicitation - I'm reall just wondering if this means of operating is common or not used at all or . .etc.?)

    Any thoughts?

Thank you for your time and attention.

    Regards,
    Tommy.
