Things seem to be gone very quiet at setanta lately. Was this channel suppose to be going full time in Jan 2005.

Well thats what the press release stated anyway

I'm not sure of any dates that it is to commence it's 7-day broadcasts, but it was announced a couple of weeks ago that the channel has received a new ten-year contract from the BCI to expand its weekend service in January.

I can only presume that it will happen sometime between the 16th and the end of the month.

Fair play to setanta they have a lot of football on ie, spl,epl serie a and now the french cup and formula 1. Just wonder how they will fit all the football and f1 at the weekend from march

The schedule has been published upto the 16th, we dont know past that.

Very poor weekend for Setanta Sports when there is no Premiership, no SPL and no Celtic League Rugby.

Some details of Setantas weekday broadcasting has been announced....

Setanta sports is officially launched next month, but their seven day a week viewing starts in the coming days running from 5 p.m. to midnight, Monday to Friday, and 8 a.m. to midnight at weekends.

No dates given as yet apart from that there will be some rugby shown on it on Monday, January 31st. So, sometime between now & then....

Monday 24th January is the day, according to the "TV Schedule" page on their website.
