I would also like that info...Engineer tells me that speed is controlled by a signal sent to modem.so maybe a software solution (-;

NTL are going upgrading their 750kbps package to 1.5Meg
I'd assume that you wouldn't need to do anything on your end.

AFAIK modding your modem to increase the speed is illegal.
