    ??

I know it's like cool and trendy not to remember your leaving cert results but not to remember exactly when you did it?

would you need your exam number though if you went to the Department of Education for your results?

How long do they hold your results for?

if you do get your results, you might consider investing in some floppy disks next time.

lost mine before (of course found them afterwards but twas too late). what you have to do is ring the dept of education and they'll send you out a new copy. costs about a tenner.

happened to me about 2/3 years after i did my leaving cert. just popped into the school and they photocopied me a copy. in saying that there could well be a time limit on the time they have to keep them on file.

if it's that much bother to find your results then prospective employers will not be bothered checking what you got, there fore you can say that you got all A1s and assume you'll get away with it! :)

Yes you should get a proper cert but I do remember that it takes forever to turn up. So long that you kind of forget about it and then one day it turns up in a big envelope.

I have been told by my "personal development" lecturer, to only list the points I received in the LC on my CV.

To get the LC of JC Certs ring you scholl and they can order them for you or give you a photo copy still costs as i remember, still in college at the moment but i was told when you get a qualification higher than the leaving take you results from your CV.HAve a Cert and a Dip. and studying for my Degree and heard it a few times. But everyone recommends having them in an interview just in case and it looks well.

Go for a job you don't want, and tell them you got 600 points. When they ring to check, they'll call you back to inform you they've foiled your ruse and they know you got 4 Cs, a B and two passes. Simply write them down and keep them handy for the next time.
