Bittornado port selection

I'm using Bittornado from the CLI, and I'm specifying the port range to use as follows:

btdownloadcurses --minport 22222 --maxport 33333 (for example)

However, my firewall shows connections from random ports outside the specified range, and none from within the range.

    Any ideas anyone?

Actually, I'm having a blond moment - it would help if I forwarded the same range on the firewall, wouldn't it?!
