    Hey Guys,

I seem to be having some trouble with some channels on Sky.
Sometimes I can get for example E4+1, but I cannot get E4.
And today, I can get neither of them.
I have been having problems the last while with certain channels breaking up etc, mostly the crappy channels, but thats not the point, the fact is they are breaking up.
Would it be the dish has moved slightly??
I know the bad weather would not help.

    Any advice??

Mostly likely dish alignement but couls also be lnb, coax or receiver fault

    Hi,

I get the same problems with E4 and E4+1, Prem Plus, CNBC, Bloomberg, the Film 4's and generally any of the crappier channels which I am not too worried about. This started happening some time ago and having read some posts on the forum I got an engineer out to check the dish alignment. He said it was fine but reckoned it could be the recevier.

Reading Tony above, he suggests it could be down to the coax, I did have builders in some time ago and they might have changed the coax because we switched rooms for TV etc. I have read before that you need good sat type coax but never understood the science, how does coax effect a specific set of channels ?

    Cheers for any help/sat education.
