So, what I'd like to know is how do I go about recouping whatever I'm due or who should I contact for same? I still have the share cert, btw.

AFAIK contact Computershare's office in Sandyford they are holding your funds in trust. I think if you can provide your share cert they will issue you with a check. Give them a call
