Cashing in Old Eircom Shares

Right, back in 2000 I thought the newly floated Eircom would make a good long term investment. Less said about that the better.

Long and the short of it, though, is that when the compulsary buyback came into effect I never bothered to send in the forms, given the whole thing had left such a bad taste in my mouth. So, what I'd like to know is how do I go about recouping whatever I'm due or who should I contact for same? I still have the share cert, btw.

AFAIK contact Computershare's office in Sandyford they are holding your funds in trust. I think if you can provide your share cert they will issue you with a check. Give them a call
