They do look nice actually, pity about the paltry HD, otherwise this could make an excellent media centre.

ya 80Gigs isn’t enough but I have managed to convince myself that I need one, will set up a wireless connection between my main machine and the Mac mini, should work fine.(they look cooler every time I see them)

The price isn't as good as it is made out to be.

399 in the US (which is 380 euro)
319 UK sterling. (which is 456 euro)
    519 Euro in Ireland.

Gouging. For around 700 Euro you can get a good spec PC with printer/monitor/computer desk (Tesco).

True but it wont be a G4 and it wont be a mac and you wont have OSX, This is the first time in my life that I can actually afford to get an iMac. will be ordering tomorrow.

as for "printer/monitor/computer desk" already got them.

"399 in the US (which is 380 euro)" Not sure where you got that figure from.

"319 UK sterling. (which is 456 euro)" Again Not sure where you got that figure from.

I configured a decent spec one at it worked out at 1300, with most of the features you'd expect to see.
    dvd burner
    wireless
    80gb hdd
    1gb ram

    etc.

    Might buy one though

I'm thinking I might get ram for my powerbook from shop4memory.com - they seem to be significantly cheaper than apple themselves. Maybe you could get the ram from them later?

Anyone remember the cube? Sexy beast but ill fated...
