Getting into the pit at the Point(Velvet Revolver)...

    I'm going to Velvet Revolver tomorrow in the Point. The only other gig I've been to there is the Offspring, and loads of little kids and their parents/supervisors got into the pit. My friends and I are thinking of being there at 5(doors open at 7) so that we can get in. Is this a good idea, any tips? :P

    No id say much earlier if you want a decent chance, bout 3 ish is the time i usually go if i wanna get in the pit guarenteed, saying that you might be alright at fifve

    People start queueing at 3? :S

    That's 4 hours of waiting..... :(

    Still we might consider it........

    Or we could just ask some kid to pretend he's with us.

    5pm is far too late to queue if you're looking for pit passes. 2 or 3ish should do it. Or you could bring a little brother/borrow someone really small/get on the guest list.

    All possibilities. :D

    (Seriously, I'd go way earlier than 5pm if I were you, you'll forget all about the 4 hour wait once you're in the pit)

    We were there at 4.45 and we got a pit pass no problem! AND they were giving them out for at least 30/40 mins after we got ours!

    WAS A ****ING AMAZING GIG!

    at metallica i showed up at 7 am and got a pit pass and my m8s showed up at half 8 and didnt
