    Hey everyone,
I need a bit of help. Got an exam tomorrow that I ain't looking forward to. Thing is, apparently we've been told that its very likely that one of the q's is gonna be something along the lines of "How would you put together a cultural diversity programme for an organisation?"
I have a few ideas like acknowledging that different religions have different beliefs i.e so have vegetarian food, kosher (sp?) food available etc.
It would be brill if you could help me out with any ideas. Need as many ideas, or websites to look at as possible.
    Thanx in advance,
    Blinky

Just don't hire anyone that isnt the same culture as you. If they accuse you of being racist acuse them of dealing drugs to kids.

Then knock them down... the world needs more un-pc people :D

Good luck in the test :D

Haha, thanx! :) Its a loads of crap really. We are expected to write stuff like "make sure you have food that caters to all religions etc". Like how are you meant to do that realistically for ALL religions?? You are bound to leave someone out. I shall be answering it " for fear of leaving out a culture refrain from having any religious icons on display..etc"

You need to advocate the creation of a communal prayer-room with arrows on the ceiling indicating mecca - Jerusalem etc. It should have a concave floor - with a drain in the middle - walls should withstand RPG-7 impact. You probably need titantium tiles for this - I know a guy...

You probably need to distribute religious warnings and have mailing list entitled: "All_Staff_muslim", "All_staff_seikh", "All_Staff_Christian", "All_Staff_Judaic" etc. and try to control who enters the prayer room and when

Maybe examine what cultures you actually have in your organisation first and then fit changes to suit them. That way more people of different ethnicities will apply for jobs.
