I was there in November 2003. It was lovely, aquamarine seas and white sands. The most relaxing holiday I was ever on. We stayed in the Catalonia Bavaro Beach Resort, Punta Cana. It's a 5 star resort and the service was great. Bring lots of $1 with you as they are great for tipping. I was really lucky with the room I was given and it was right on the beach. I stepped out through the patio doors and there it was.

This resort had a casino and golf course and as usual with these all inclusive resorts there are lots of restaurants. There is a french restaurant, big main restaurant (buffet style) with theme nights, and a mexican/italian restaurant (these alternate every second night).

Here is the link to the hotel I stayed in.......

PM me if you want any other info

From most of the resorts on the island you can do day trips out to the island where that bounty ad was filmed.....
