Acronis True Image Disk Cloning Problem.

I have two identical hard drives - both samsung 160GB. I wanted to create a 100% cloned copy of the original disk. Went through the disk cloning procedure with True Image. Selected disk 0 (Primary master/drive C: )
as original and selected disk 1 (Primary Slave/drive F: ) as the new disk to be cloned. Then selected the 'delete all partitions' and 'copy as is' options.

Once cloned, i rebooted (winxp pro sp1) to find that whilst it said
'booting to IDE-0 -OK' - it hangs thereafter.

I rebooted and selected IDE-1 and that booted no problem. I suppose that i
can set it to boot from IDE-1 but can i be sure that if this hard drive goes down, the other one will boot? ie. is it the fact that their both effectively c: drives (as logical drive F: doesnt exist anymore) the reason IDE-0 doesn't boot right now or is there an issue with the MBR??

Disk management shows IDE-0 as 149.05GB unallocated and IDE-1 as 149.04GB system disk.
