    I agree, I think the USA game should have been used to give more new players a run (I think Leamy and Bowe were the only new players who got a cap that day?)

    i think you will find that most of the uncapped players are there for the experience and probably wont make any of the final 22's

    of course. But these players are expected to play for Ireland at some point. The likes of the US are the best teams to blood these guys. Not a crisis situation mid way through the 6 nations in a tight game with the tournament on the line

    i would of like to see your man jennings from lenister in there, he brings much needed strength speed to the back row position

    Ya he deserves a shot - he impressed me the whole way throughh this campaign

    Ya that one is puzzling me - he was Irelands main ground breaker for ages and he was always in the highest tackle count, know he was injured in a training match a while back is he still or whats the story. He's ex-lion

    He's ex-lion[/QUOTE}

    So is Tyrone Howe, and not too sure if I would pick him :D

    It's a shame about Wallace, but I can't remember the last time we had this many top quality backrow players competing for a place on the Irish team. Leamy seems a very similar player to Wallace and I think Wallace would just have the edge over him, but there is also Johny O'Connor, Miller etc etc

    Ya i suppose about Howe - but do remember he was the best of what was left out of the wingers and the rest were poor if i remember right. Wallace was in the opposite postion.Wallace carries the ball a lot more than Leamy and is faster.Remember him chasing Shane Williams in Cardiff - Lion chases the Lamb

    Actually, Hickey was fit to play when they needed a wing, but one or more of the Lions management had a personal problem with him, so he was left behind.

    I agree with you about Wallace, but I suppose he has to get picked for Munster first before he can be considered for Ireland...

    Thought Hickey was injured at the time ,........must be wrong

    Ya Wallace will have to bide his time. As said he was injured a while back.Just before a mtch in Musgrave it was his first match in ages and whack-injured.
