Muppet Militia today became involved in the Elian Gonzales case in a daring pre-dawn snatch. It is unclear who they were working for, though it is known that they have links with both Pro- and Anti-Castro paramilitary groups in the Florida area, and are rumoured that their military, hostage rescue, and search-and-destroy skills are available to anyone willing to pay their price.

These skills were developped during a colourful career which first began with offering tactical and bodyguard support to other muppets who were selling 'E', or whatever the letter of the day was, and became a matter of national security during the period of widespread campaigns against discrimination on the basis of the texture of their skin (it is allegded by the NYPD that armed muppets where in the area during the infamous Sesame Street Shooting of '84, and the ensuing riots).

Elian Gonzales' whereabouts following this action is currently unknown.
