Keynote is at 9am PST, which means it should start at 5pm GMT, and end sometime around 6:30. There's a lot of new products expected to be announced today:

A list of rumoured product launches, from MacOSXRumors.com:
    - New iMac @ $500~$600 (with similar characteristics as the entry-level iBook, in a screen-less, compact, pizza-box style design)
    - Speed-bumped PowerBooks (1.5 and 1.66ghz processors, improved graphic chip, other minor enhancements)
    - 1Gb Flash-based iPod @ $149 (no screen, 240 songs, random play feature, may be called iPod shuffle)
    - iLife ‘05 (including GarageBand 2, iTunes 4.7, iMovie 5, iDVD 5, iPhoto 5)
    - Hardware audio interface (will use Firewire and provide advanced sound input/output features for GarageBand)
    - iWork “05 (including at least Keynote 2 and Pages)
    - Mac OS X Tiger demo and release date announcement
    - More info on Motorola’s iTunes compatible phone
    - Adobe will NOT make any announcements or demo

The two best sites to check are probably:
    http://www.engadget.com/
    http://www.macosxrumors.com/

http://engadget.com/entry/1234000373026882/ << coverage announcement at engadget.

I'm hoping for a Powerbook speedbump and overall upgrade... I've already committed to buying the next revision of the 17".

    a) Java IRC Chat - This Java-based client will also allow you to watch, but not participate.

    b) MRChat 1.0.1 (Mac OS X download) - will allow you to watch updates, but will not allow you to chat during the event.

    Live website updates

Live updates will also be provided on MacRumors.com. http://www.macrumors.com will direct you to the proper location when the time approaches.

not too keen on the ipod shuffle... but the mac mini.... I think I'm in love (the higher end one would work out for less than e500... that's before any add-ons mind you!).
What way would the display work on that though? Would a regular monitor work with an adapter or what?

Looks like a standard VGA monitor will work with the included adaptor but..... You get S-Video and composite with optional adaptor - so you can use your TFT monitor fromt he PC you are going to do without for free, or buy the adaptor and use your 42-inch Plasma TV !!!

Wrong. 519 euro for the entry level mac mini, 619 for the faster one.

I really want one. I think one of those babies would go really well with my 30" TFT TV!

I presume flogen meant the dollar prices which would work out at roughly 400euro and 475euro at todays rates.

I'm sold I must admit I was hoping this rumour would turn out to be true. I've a 19" crt doing nothing at the moment and old usb keyboards and mice so should be ready to go.

For students it's only 487 and 582 which is pretty decent.

Just so you know, paying an extra 20% for an extra 13% CPU speed, which in turn translates to a maximum of 5% better performance, is a really bad idea.

    Get the cheaper one.

    Also, check out this:

Mac mini would be perfect for this.

they sure know how to hype! A radeon 9200! They're passing this off as cutting edge!

    Otherwise its a nice package.

I think the main reason for the price difference is that we have 21% VAT in Ireland, so that automatically adds to the price. Still, save some money by taking one with you on your next trip to New York. :D
