    Hi all - does anyone know what the opportunities are like in the software development industry in Sligo and the surrounding towns - say withing commuting distance of Sligo. In particular involving C++ or Python.

    I know that there are a couple of big multinationals out that way: MBNA, Abbots which probably have IT departments although would they have a large C++ development requirement, perhaps that's done in the US? Are there any software houses located there, small or big?
