    Hi guys,
Long time watcher, second time poster!,

Been following poker for a while now, only thing is, I'd like to start playing properly. (in a club). I was thinking of doing some free rolls first, as far as I can see the fitz seems to be a favourite here... When do they have freerolls? I was playing over christmas and profited on each game I played, so I'm beginning to like the "style" I'm developing. So time to take it up a level methinks. Any other useful info for a NooB apart from, "Don't be arrogant?!" :D
    Thanks everyone.
    Papa

Sundays, Thursdays and Saturdays - about 5pm at the weekends and 8:30 on Thursday - could be different now as I haven't been to one in ages but there or there abouts

Are they a good place to start or does no-one really take them seriously? And whats the story with prizes etc...

Always call Lafortezza and Dappergent. They never have any of that!.

For a newbie I recommend the sit-and-go action in the fitz on Thursday, Friday or Saturday afternoon. Look for Luke Ivory and let him know its your first time in and he'll look after you. The atmosphere is laughable and more like a home game especially if any of the "characters" are in. You wont feel like you are on Mastermind as you somtimes can do in the bigger tournies. After that you can always drop into the Freeerolls (Thursday 8:30, Sunday 6pm and Saturday 4:30) or dig deeper into your pockets and play the 20-in for a cash prize.
Do not, under any circumstances, sit down at the cash games just yet unless you dont like money a whole lot. There will soon be a n00b-friendly cash game starting with lower blinds which I would recommend if Cash gaming is your thing.

Freerolls are good place to start to get a feel of what it is like to play in a club. General play is a bit wild and the prizes are just entry into other games - €100 / €250 freezeout games.

I would recommend playing a few - play a little looser than normal. Once you are happy and comfortable then play the €20 rebuy game on Wed/Sun - better standard of play and gives the noob a little insurance with the 3 rebuys
