Computer gamers have under-developed brains

Before everyone goes nuts at this topic, its a direct quote from The Register , not necessarily the opinion of the poster!!

To be honest, its something I wouldn't agree with at all, most of the hardware gamers appear to be of above average intelligence and well balanced individuals.
Indeed, one of my friends says that there is no better way to come home from work in a bad humour and work it out blowing people away online!!

Lots of heavy gamers here if the gaming boards are anything to go by, are you all under-developed and unable to control your violent or anti-social behaviour?

For all of you who are too lazy to read the article, allow me to summarise it.

Okay, maybe that's not entirely true. I may not be an expert on these matters but in the 3 years after I began playing computer games my self control improved greatly. No, I'm not going to the other, equally ridiculous end of the spectrum (mmmmmm, ZX Spectrum). The computer games did not help me, but they certainly didn't hinder me

Agreed shinji, I think a good idea might be to read a few more register articles, to see where they are coming from. They like to rip the ****, and its not usually out of their readers, although they might laugh at this thread
