    Funny adver

Turns out it wasn't a joke. They had the guy on TV in an interview and it was quite intresting to watch. The interviewer actually tried to bait him into getting annoyed but he played it cool.

The show was a british show called "Biteback"(?)

What was his name ? I thought it might have been Howard Marks doing a publicity stunt.

I remember reading a news article some time ago about a drugs smuggler that was inundated with offers of managerial positions at legitimate companies. In his ad, he referred to his experience with 'security' and managing a multi-million dollar operation.

Dunno if it's the same guy as here (I'd say it's a good bet though). Very interesting - I don't know if it's just moral bankrupcy on the part of the companies that would offer a position to such an ex-criminal - or merely sound and astute business sense. (I suspect the latter)

Well I didn't see the whole interview however he did his time, in a thai prison. While there he taught himself to speak a couple of extra languages so the guy is hardly stupid or a thug and honestly looked like he wanted to go straight.
