    anyone used e3 satellite broadband?

im not familiar with this company or with satellite bb in general. i do seem to remember something about sat bb only being downstream & that you had to use your phoneline for upstream, is this this case? this paragraph on the e3 site seems to indicate something like this -

"A telephone line is required to operate the system. Your computer must stay connected to a telephone line while you are using the Internet (not required to watch digital T.V.). All telephone charges to be paid by the customer. If you want to avail of our low cost telephone offer, subscribe on-line by selecting our telecom partner, UTV"

This would mean its some sort of amalgam of dial-up & dsl??

Their prices are decent only for this -

Package Speed Monthly Charge Download Capacity
    256 kbps €29.99 Unlimited
    512 kbps €49.99 Unlimited
    1 Mbps €69.99 Unlimited
    2 Mbps €99.99 Unlimited
