Making New Friends

    I live in Rathfarnham, South Dublin, and Im a little lonely as of late because id like to make some new friends and i dunno were to go or what to do and its getting me down as a result. Ive never had a lot of friends but it hasnt really bothered me before now. 1m 19, im a guy, im single, im friendly, outgoing, honest and fun to be around so i dont see why im having this problem? Does anyone out there know any group or society i could try in my locality or in Dublin in general that encourages new membership?????? id apprichate ur help. thanks.

    try the gym? or some kind of sport, like martial arts or boxing.. if thats not your thing you could do some kind of course? that'll get ya meeting people, and you'll learn something too:)

    if you're in college then they should have plenty of societies!! and if not then start one!!

    try putting the search words rathfarnham and your favourite sport/hobby/social event in www.google.ie.

    youd be amazed the sorts of things you can find on there. its also amazing the amount of things you really dont need to ask people about.

    It can be tough making friends in a new city. Remember go do something that you enjoy doing.

    I joined a chess club, but unfortunatly no women! So keep that in mind.

    If you're such a nice guy how come you don't have friends? You looking for a girlfriend or just friends? If I were you and I wanted to meet people to just hang around with I'd join the SVDP or some other charitable organisation. Anyone I know who's in that is very nice (I'm an asshole, ergo I'm not in it) and they all seem to socialise a lot.
