I've been going out with this girl for a long time now. Problem is i want to dump her. We constantly fight and it just kills me. But whenever i get a chance to end it i just cant chicken out etc. i say stuff like i love you even though i don't really mean it.

First of all stop saying you love her, thats really horrible. The arguments might be a good place to start, if you're having a really heated one maybe just add in a "im sorry i just dont love you anymore"

That's sorta an easy way out, and with murphy's law and all you'll end up not having an argument for weeks. Just call her, say you need to talk, meet up and tell her it's not working out. All's fair in love and ice cream.

you know, im begining to think that some of our other threads are creeping in here.

i defiantely think txt break ups are the way to go. but dont use l33t speak when you break up, use plain english. it will lend a more serious tone (no pun intended) to your message so she doesnt think you are just messing around.
besides, if you txt, she will know you are too cheap to call, and would probably break it of for not having enough money to pay for credit.

Has fighting got worse recently or started recently? I know something similar happened with my ex cause he knew something was wrong but I couldn't tell him what so we ended up fighting the whole time, about stupid things. I couldn't tell him about stuff I really wanted to and was frustrated that he wasn't more understanding (not v fair as he didn't know) n I'd pick fights over anything! You could try talking to her before breaking up with her?
