    Try this

When Windows just starts to boot press f8 and choose load last known good configuraton and if this doesnt work try to boot to safe mode.

I have seen this once before and it was caused by someone using a program called soft fsb which changes the front side bus speed. He had it configured wrong and also set to boot on startup. So when windows would boot soft fsb would kick in, apply dodgy settings and crash the who thing.

Also might be worth having a look in the event viewer in admin tools and see is there any occuring errors.

DO you get the blue screen of death with some memory locations mentioned.

    eg 00 x 00 00 00 BB

If so write em down and let me know.

Usually hardware related and maybe dodgy drivers

also while in safe mode msconfig from the run option and see what is set to start with windows. MIght be worth a try

If that all fails drive to limer and look for a place called Raheen Ind Est. and fire the thing through the window of Dell Ireland
