    Hi,
Any suggestions on the best freeware programme for viewing images?

I've used ACDsee and it does the job, are there any similar freeware programmes though? Nice and simple image viewer with thumnail view etc.
    Thanks!

    What about Google's Picasa? http://www.picasa.com/picasa/

Does the job for me. It also keeps all your original photos if you decide to crop them or remove red eye from them within Picasa.

I downloaded and tried it out, it's a bit too complicated for what I want in the way that you have to import pictures to a certain folder and all that. I simply want something to view pictures on from where I click them. I don't want to add them to albums or anything like that.

    Thanks anyway!!

I like irfanview. Its tiny, you can use the scroll wheel to move through images, enter puts them fullscreen and you can hold down the directional keys to flick past them, which is good for image sequences. It also plays avi and you can slow/speed it up while it pitch shifts the audio to keep it in synch.

Infranview, small and easy to use. Great program. What camera/system do you own?
